Chinese New Year

The children have been learning about Chinese New Year. The babies have been exploring the noodles and tasting and feeling them. 2-3 year olds have enjoyed making snakes and dragons out of playdough, made their own spring rolls and painted some traditional Chinese symbols. The 3 and 4 year olds have enjoyed creating their very own dragon and taken this outside to dance, whilst listening to music. They have also made spring rolls and learnt all about why the dragon is symbolic during this celebration.
