Our nursery maintains high standards where children are constantly enriched in learning and are comfortable to explore and experiment.
At Townley House nursery we believe that a child will flourish in all areas when surrounded in a happy, safe and stimulating environment. We are continuously providing opportunities within the setting, in order for the children to gain new experiences and a sense of self. We encourage all our children to form positive relationships with their peers and adults, and develop their confidence to enable them to communicate with others. All the children are encouraged to respect the feelings, values, beliefs and property of others and we encourage children to participate fully in the nursery and wider community.
This will help to promote self-esteem and self-confidence in all children through praise and encouragement. Our children are taught to take responsibility for their own actions and to act in a polite and courteous manner at all times. We have a commitment to staff training and enjoy a fantastic reputation for providing high quality induction and ongoing training. In addition to holding appropriate childcare qualifications, all staff are trained in health and safety, safeguarding, first aid and basic food hygiene. We are committed to making a partnership with our parents and understand the importance of establishing two-way communication links. We encourage close parental involvement and staff are available to talk about your child’s progress or any other issues you wish to discuss.
